Track bed cleaning

Transport companies and railway administrations are placing more and more emphasis on clean station areas and tunnel tracks.

The main reasons for this are:
• Increasing attractiveness through clean vehicles, clean platforms and track systems.
• Reduction of maintenance and cleaning costs
• Risk minimisation (avoidance of operational disruptions and fires)

Newspapers, cups, cigarettes, etc. carelessly discarded by passengers are not only unattractive accessories, but also a serious danger to life and limb of passengers if unfortunate circumstances coincide. MBU therefore developed a state-of-the-art concept for cleaning the track bed. MBU supplied the complete suction module incl. control system.
